Where great herds begin.

Rockin’ 2A Ranch raises quality heifers outside Sundance, Wyoming.

Replacement heifers

Raised on forage. Sired by registered bulls.

Our heifers are raised on forage, so they know how to graze and make a living. They come out of some of the top commercial Angus cow herds in the Wyoming/South Dakota area and are sired by registered bulls.

Who we are

Samantha and Ed.

We’re Ed and Samantha Taylor, and we live in Sundance, Wyoming. Sam is the ranch manager and decision maker. Ed is the hired hand and the voice of reason. Together, we make a pretty good team.

We started in 2020 with a plan to raise steers, feed them out and sell the beef nationwide. Over the years, that plan slowly changed and our goal now is to build a replacement heifer program that holds up in your herd.

Our goal is to help rebuild the American cattle herd, even in a small way. We buy young heifers, develop them carefully and sell them as bred heifers to ranchers who are ready to grow.

We love caring for our cattle, even through the hard Wyoming winters. We do our best every day to take care of the land and the cattle God has provided for us.
